This is a special retreat day for all catechists, volunteers and those interested in the Religious Education. Sr. Karen Kavanaugh will focus the retreat on “Living as missionary disciples, as bridges to peace”.

SOCIAL JUSTICE: "FOOD & HUNGER" 7:00-9:00 PM

This will be a meeting focusing on discussing the means of sharing goods with others in the best way both to the one who donates and those who will receive them. Fellowship will follow.

MIGRATION FORUM: "BRINGING DOWN THE WALL" 10:00 AM-2:00 PM

This is a meeting for all concerned about their immigration status. There will be representatives from USCIS, lawyers and other organizations involved in help and assistance to those who need it. There will be an occasion to speak to various experts in the comfort of privacy and respect. The New York Immigration Coalition is co-sponsoring the event.

2000 HAIL MARYS FOR PEACE 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

This is a prayerful event that will bring the entire deanery to ask God for peace. The 2000 Hail Marys will be divide onto hours and parishes throughout the day. You are invited to come and pray with your parish community and/or stay and pray throughout the day.

OKTOBERFEST at 6:00 PM

Based on the old German tradition, this will be an evening of fellowship, while enjoying bratwursts, pretzels and beer on tap.

GUARDIAN ANGELS SUNDAY after 9:00 and 10:45 AM Masses

This will be a day focused on children and their relationship with Guardian Angels. It will start at Masses and continue to activities after Masses on the grounds of St. Joseph.
